Dog Treats (100% Natural Rawhide)
What is rawhide made of?
Rawhide comes from the inner layer of buffalo skin. During the manufacturing process, the various layers of the hide are cleaned and cut. The top layers (of better quality) are used to make consumer goods such as car seats, handbags, shoes, belts, etc. The last layer is then cut into strips and used to make dog treats such as knotted bones and compressed bones, among others.
What are the benefits of rawhide?
All dogs need to chew. It's a natural instinct. Some even spend hours chewing every day. Chewing provides stimulation for dogs and helps relieve aggression and anxiety. Especially for puppies, rawhide bones can be a great replacement for your leather shoes and furniture! Chewing also keeps a dog's jaws strong, clean teeth, and breath somewhat fresher. Dogs that regularly chew rawhide, other bones, or toys have less plaque and tartar buildup on their teeth.

Are there any risks associated with a dog's enjoyment of chewing rawhide?
As with some other products, certain dogs are simply sensitive or allergic to rawhide. However, given the amount of rawhide consumed by dogs every year, the risks are relatively low.
Here are some practical tips:
- Always wash your hands after handling treats.
- It is recommended to inspect the products and monitor your pet when consuming treats.
Collagen
Collagen is an essential protein for dogs, just like it is for humans. It plays a key role in maintaining the health of joints, bones, skin, and connective tissues. Here are the main benefits of collagen for dogs:
Joint and Ligament Support
- Collagen helps regenerate and strengthen cartilage, reducing the risk of joint pain.
- It can improve mobility in older dogs or those with joint issues, such as hip dysplasia.
Bone Health
- Collagen strengthens bones by supporting their structure and promoting bone density, lowering the risk of fractures, particularly in aging dogs.
Skin and Coat Health
- It helps maintain skin elasticity and hydration, which can reduce irritation and promote wound healing.
- Collagen also supports a shiny, thicker, and healthier coat.
Digestive Support
- Collagen can soothe and protect the intestinal lining, helping manage digestive sensitivities or inflammation.
Stronger Nails and Teeth
- By reinforcing connective tissues, collagen can help prevent brittle nails and support dental health.
